Chateau Guibeau Castillon Cotes De Bordeaux
Blend: Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (20%)
Rich red in colour, the Guibeau Castillon has a soft red fruit nose. To taste it is dry with earthy red fruit flavours that are given structure with the soft tannins and good acidity.
Serving and Pairing:
The wine will benefit from a little airing and is well suited to strong tomato led dishes, casseroles and cheese.

The same care and attention, wine making skills, weather and in these close locations ‘terrior’ influence both wines. Eric and Brigitte Destouet Bourlon produced an earthy rich developed wine, lifted by a great vintage. A good Castillon wine is a wine to be matched with rich meat dishes. Decanter before drinking will open up this wine that will give you the rich, balanced taste you desire.
