Review: The second wine of Chateau Gombaude Gulliot. The vineyard is under 20 years old (the top cuvee from Gombaude has an avg age of vines at 45 years) but with only 6000 bottles made its about nurturing this baby.
We have successfully placed this wine in a select number of establishments (some Michelin starred) purely on the back of the legendary tales of the maverick winemaker that creates this wine. Oliver champions the Bio approach in his vineyard and cellars in the day and can be found mixing it up MMA style in the local fitness clubs of Libourne.....a lovely guy but not someone to mess with! (He was a bouncer at a famous night club in Bordeaux for a number of years!)
Certifications: Organic, Biodynamic
